At Fieldhead Primary Academy we are always striving to develop and improve our links with parents.

We believe that strong communication is an important part of establishing and maintaining a good relationship with our parents. Therefore we use many different methods of communication (including this website) as a way of ensuring our parents feel informed about their child’s education and that they’re feedback and opinions are valued.

In order for us to ensure that we are recognised for the ongoing support we offer our families we have decided to embark upon a journey to achieve the Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA).

We will be assessed by an external verifier who shall spend an entire day in school, examining the learning environment and the portfolio of evidence we have prepared as well as spending time talking to parents, staff and pupils.

This award looks at how well we work with parents and carers, how welcoming the school is and how we support parents in helping their child to learn. We aim to improve communication with parents and the community, support parents and children to extend their learning and to encourage a greater input and more involvement of parents in the wider life of the school.

You can find out more about our policies and ongoing initiatives in the links on this page and you can find more information about the Leading Parent Partnership Award via the LPPA website.
